While Kerry has been a Reno resident for close to 24 years, her ties to
northern Nevada began well before birth. She comes from a Basque family that
has lived in Nevada since 1920. Kerry was born in Elko but was raised in
Fillmore Utah. She spent much of her childhood summers in Winnemucca before
becoming a permanent Reno resident in 1988. She has a great love of the
region for its topographic diversity, natural beauty, and because it is home
to her family, including four lovely children.
Spending time with her family is her greatest pleasure. Three boys, Nic,
Chase, and Skyler, one girl, Everti, and her husband, Rick, make for a fun and
fulfilling home life. Kerry and Rick love traveling, eating great food,
drinking good wine, and sharing their lives with their family and friends.
Family and friends provides a nice balance to how hard Kerry works.
Kerry is as driven and ambitious as they come. She began her career in radio
before moving on to banking, becoming a manager before her 21st birthday. She
has since moved on to the health care field including a 7 year stint in
labor and delivery, 11 years in plastic surgery, and most recently has spent
more than two years assisting various surgeons as a Certified Surgical First
Assist.
Her passion for real estate began during the process of buying her own home.
Kerry is an incredible researcher and quickly realized how much she enjoyed
compiling lists of viable options that met her implicit criteria. Coupling
her research skills with her love of people and houses has made the
transition into real estate seamless and moreover, fateful. Kerry loves working
with people and looks forward to matching you with your dream home.
